This year, as you prepare for the holiday season with family and friends, you can also celebrate the birth of the Christ-child in a new way . . . by considering what Jesus was born to be.
As you study selected passages from the prophecies of Isaiah and the Christmas story in Matthew, consider that God sent Jesus to fulfill a unique role and purpose in our lives. During this season of Advent, allow these verses to guide you as you explore how Jesus was born to be: God with us, Human like us, Our Servant, Our Light, and Our Savior.
This five-session study is designed to cover five Sundays during the Advent Season.
Teaching materials include specifically designed activities for college students, younger and older singles, newly marrieds, young marrieds, parents of children, parents of teenagers, empty nesters, senior adults, and those who participate in classes with a Master Teacher. Also included each week are lesson commentaries, Family Devotion handouts, learner worksheets, and session handouts.
This study is a module from LAUNCH: Into Faith. To Learn More about the Complete LAUNCH series visit the Long Term Studies section of our website.
