In the Midst of Addiction, There Is Always Hope
No one wants to be an addict, but many families find themselves in the grip of addiction. Humankind has developed many weapons for battling addiction, but when we realize that the battle with addiction is spiritual, we can be empowered by God’s mighty weapons as well.
My family has battled addiction. It is my hope that by telling our story you may find solace in knowing you are not alone. There are others who understand your pain and who are willing to share with you, care for you, and love you through what you’re living. As you read, we’ll step together through the valleys and up to the mountaintops. I’ll share things I wish someone had told me in hopes of sparing you even a minute more pain and anguish. Peace is attainable.
